About the process:
The biowashing process is aimed at removing small fiber ends protruding from the yarn surface, thereby reducing fabric tangle or problem. The hydrolysis process of the enzyme weakens the fibers, which is sufficient to break down and remove a small body of abrasive force. Bio wash can be done at any time during wet processing, but is most conveniently done after bleaching.
This can be done in continuous or preventive processes. However, continuous processes require some incubation time for enzymatic degradation to occur. Removing the fuse brightens the color, makes the fabric texture more transparent and reduces the tablet. Soft threads enhance the softness, texture and feel of the fabric. As a business owner you obviously want the best quality for your brand. However, biowash does not represent the best quality. This is basically a process that helps to remove false threads from T-shirts.
This process has its advantages and disadvantages.
This is good for the life of T-shirts, but the fabric may feel thinner after the process because the extra durable fibers will go away. Biowashing is a much needed process if you want to create DDG prints on your tees as the smooth service provides the best canvas for print servers to work with. Biowash prevents fabric pills.
However, many brand owners decide not to do biowash because they prefer a non-biowash look and prefer clothes to biowash. And the price of biovash is a bit high.
